DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT THE PROJECT "LIVING GREEN"

Under the patronage of the City Municipality of Palilula, RTV Belleamie and Media EKOpolis ecological network,we have made a film implemented as a documentary on the activities of the partner municipalities Ihtiman and Palilula, Project Living green "Living Green" in the IPA, CBC Bulgaria-Serbia 2013/2014.

Documentary film promoted the interests of the citizens of two cities in the field of ecology, environment and sustainable development. According to the mayor and project managers this project contributed to building the capacity of municipal governments to protect the environment and conserve natural resources in the border region. Thanks to the project LIVING GREEN, they were extensively discussed the issues and key environmental issues that are of common interest. Project activities Living Green was supported by the EU IPA funds with 162 671. EURO.

"We wish that after one year of activities and media promotion, this film raises awareness on issues related to the environment such as biodiversity conservation, energy efficiency - the application of renewable energy, climate change - said Boban Džunić, President of municipality of Palilula. He expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation of two municipalities and emphasized the importance of education for sustainable development, networking in the field of environmental protection and energy efficiency in the region. Atanas Krstin, Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nis, welcomed the cooperation of Palilula and municipalities Ihtiman and suggested new possibilities of cooperation for project activities in the future.
